Job summary

Axiom seeks Paralegals, Law Clerks, and Legal Operations professionals to support in-house teams for major corporate matters and projects. The role involves improving workflows, policies, playbooks, and leveraging technology across CLM and matter management platforms.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in legal support roles, strong organizational and PM skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, IT, compliance, and procurement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in paralegal, law clerk, legal operations, or related roles, preferably in-house.
• Experience supporting legal teams with processes, technology, corporate matters, PM, or operational initiatives.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities cross-functionally.

Job description

We are currently seeking Paralegals, Law Clerks, and Legal Operations professionals to work with our clients at some of the world’s largest companies across a range of industries.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting in-house legal teams, with a background in one or more of the following areas: paralegal or law clerk support; legal operations; legal technology and systems; process improvement; or legal project and program management.

Candidates do not need experience across all areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal, law clerk, or operational support to in-house legal teams across a variety of corporate and commercial matters.
• Support legal operations and process improvement initiatives, including developing and implementing workflows, policies, procedures, playbooks, and standardized processes.
• Assist with legal technology and systems, including CLM, matter management, e-billing, document management, knowledge management, and other legal technology platforms.
• Support legal teams with entity management, corporate records, filings, document preparation, due diligence, contract administration, and other legal matters, depending on experience.
• Assist with legal project and program management, including tracking matters, deadlines, deliverables, metrics, and reporting.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, IT, compliance, and other business teams to improve the efficiency and delivery of legal services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in paralegal, law clerk, legal operations, legal technology, legal project management, or related legal support roles, preferably within an in-house legal department.
• Experience supporting legal teams with legal processes, technology, corporate matters, project management, or operational initiatives.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.

Compensation

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $114,000-250,000 per yearand for non-attorney roles is $64,000-201,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
