Veolia in Canada is offering an internship in the Legal Contract Management team. You will support daily operations, gain exposure to contract lifecycle processes, and learn how to apply AI prompts to streamline reviews.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and trusted with confidential information. This 12-month full-time internship begins May/June 2027, based in Ontario, Oakville, with opportunities to grow within a global sustainability-focused company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Pre-Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to work independently or with a team.
• Available full-time for 12 months starting May/June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a repository of AI prompts and tools to assist in contract reviews.
• Utilize tools to create and streamline routine tasks.
• Organize and streamline Veolia's Google Drive and databases with proper folder structure and naming conventions.
• Manage day-to-day filing of legal documents (physical and digital) to maintain an efficient and organized system.
• Coordinate and process NDAs, Certificates of Insurance, Contracts, Lien Waivers, Surety Bonds, and other legal documents.
• Assist in tracking document status, expirations, and renewals.
• Support the legal team with specific tasks as needed.
