A leading automotive company in Windsor seeks a skilled Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal advice, focusing on privacy and commercial matters. This key role requires a seasoned legal expert adept at managing external counsel and navigating complex legal issues while supporting diverse business units.
The Legal Counsel will play a key role in supporting Stellantis Canada's business objectives by delivering strategic, solution-oriented legal advice, with a focus on privacy and commercial, sales and marketing matters.In addition, will effectively manage external counsel support and budget. This role reports to the Stellantis Canada General Counsel and requires a curious individual with superior negotiation skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to build influential relationships with the Canadian leadership team.
The Legal Counsel will serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to diverse business units across Stellantis Canada. They will be expected to establish and maintain effective working relationships, founded on trust and transparency, with our internal and external partners and to address complex legal and business issues in an accurate, clear and thorough manner. They must exercise sound judgment and have excellent communication skills. The ability to drive decisions to consensus and influence change is a must.
The candidate must be prepared to support a fast-changing automotive landscape, marked by autonomous vehicle technology, connectivity, and a transformative consumer data platform.
