Qualifications

  • Erfahrung in einer Anwaltskanzlei oder im gewerblichen Immobilienbereich ist erforderlich.
  • Kenntnisse im Bereich gewerblicher Leasingverträge oder Verträge sind von Vorteil.

  • Überprüfung und Bearbeitung von gewerblichen Leasing- und Immobilienverwaltungsdokumenten.
  • Verwaltung elektronischer Akten und Organisation rechtlicher Dokumente.

The Role

The Legal Coordinator will provide administrative support to our Legal team. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated to work independently.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and process commercial leasing and property management documents for execution using DocuSign.
  2. Track documents in VTS and manage their processing.
  3. Ensure legal documents comply with company policies and signing authorities.
  4. Manage electronic filing and organize legal documents daily.
  5. Collaborate with the Leasing team to ensure timely deal processing.
  6. Update the Restrictive Covenant Binder as needed.
  7. Conduct corporate and Land Title searches.
  8. Process regional legal invoices.
  9. Collect and file Guarantee Acknowledgement Act Certificates for Alberta.
  10. Coordinate deals between the legal team and external counsel.
  11. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Legal Assistant Diploma or Certificate, with relevant experience in a law firm or commercial real estate.
  2. Knowledge of commercial leasing or contracts.
  3. Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial leases is an asset.

  1. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
  2. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  3. Problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with DocuSign and VTS is a plus.
