NOVA Injury Law Bedford is seeking a proactive Legal Assistant to support our paralegal team and lawyers. You will help organize casework, manage filing, and ensure deadlines are met in our fast-paced personal injury practice.

The ideal candidate has paralegal experience, strong computer skills, and a collaborative mindset. This full-time, in-person role offers growth within our client-focused firm and opportunities to elevate service for our clients.

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience preferred (2 years)
• Strong computer and technology skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the legal support department and elevate the work our paralegals do every day
• Serve as the go-to support person for junior paralegals and assist lawyers
• Ensure our systems are being used and processes followed
• Complete casework with high quality and on time
• Participate in weekly team meetings and filing of legal documents
• Track deadlines and proactively troubleshoot files

We are looking for a motivated, passionate, obsessed individual to lead our legal support department and elevate the work our paralegals do every day! The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is detail oriented and can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have experience in the legal field and be able to handle a variety of tasks such as being the go-to support person for junior paralegals and completing casework while paired with a Lawyer.

This is a role for someone with strong background of office-related skills, and experience working as a paralegal, whether or not it was in personal injury law. We need someone to take responsibility for:

• Raising the bar for exceptional client experience (through rapid service and helping the legal team deliver results)
• Making sure our systems are being used and processes followed
• Being passionate about the work that you do and completing work on-time and to high standard
