Course: Quantitative Methods in Psychology 1 PSYC 7200 A02 - 3 Credit Hours

Expected total hours:

Appointment Pay Rate: $6,134.58

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing instructional and testing materials relevant to the course being taught.
• Instructing/teaching/testing.
• Marking/grading of exams and assignments etc.
• Providing constructive feedback to students.
• Maintaining regular office hours.

In the event that the course offers a field component, the instructor will be required to participate in training relating to due diligence and safety. The instructor will also be required to develop due diligence and safety plans for the specific field opportunity and to follow those plans in the field.

Additional information:

Class time:Tues, Thurs: 10:00AM-11:15AMPSYC 7200, Quantitative Methods in Psychology 1 (3 credits):Must have work experience as a Sessional Instructor for this course, or its equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants who hold a PhD in Psychology with a background in Quantitative Psychology. An equivalent level in qualifications and experience may be considered. May supervise and schedule work assignments for Grader/Marker or Teaching Assistant, if assigned. May be required to assess and provide feedback to Department Head regarding administrative responsibilities for student grade appeals, requests for time extensions to complete work, deferred examinations, and other administrative duties that may arise.
