We are looking for a full-time bilingual (French/English) Lease Analyst / Revenue Accountant to join our team. This position can be hybrid from our offices in Markham, ON, Ottawa, ON, or Montreal, QC.

Summary

The Lease Revenue Analyst (Revenue Accountant), working with our Real Lease platform, supports clients in managing their portfolios. Responsibilities include abstracting lease terms, rent collection, tenant billing reconciliation, reporting, and analysis of commercial tenant profiles to maximize transaction flexibility.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Review lease agreements and abstract key information such as lease provisions, clauses, options, critical dates, property details, and legal and financial obligations.
• Maintain lease data in the management database, ensuring data integrity.

Rent Collection and Reporting

• Prepare monthly revenue reports as per contractual requirements.
• Support data management in RealLease.
• Assist with rent roll reviews, deposit functions, collections, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Additional Rent Review

• Conduct annual reviews of operating cost increases to ensure reasonableness, verify recoveries, and prepare reconciliations.
• Make expenditure and procedural recommendations.

Knowledge & Skills

• University degree or professional certification.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand commercial lease agreements.
• Advanced English skills.

Licenses & Accreditation

• Real Property Administrator designation is an asset.
