Overview:
Vertex Technologies Canada Inc. (VTCI) is looking for a Learning and Development Program Manager to oversee all aspects of a learning center and associated learning program operations, and lead a team of learning operations specialist, and training administrators. The Manager is responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 training professionals who provide administrative and logistical support for learning events. This position is responsible for the successful management of the facility and the training events supported by this team. Additionally, the Manager will serve as the primary customer interface and will be responsible for building strong relationships between VTCI and the fortune 500 customer. They will be co-located with and responsible for working with the customer to ensure flawless delivery of services.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a skilled Project Manager (PM) with an operational focus and a proven track record of success, and a strong customer service and financial background. They should also be skilled at leading teams, building strong customer relationships, and achieving operational and business learning and development objectives. This job requires flexibility, adaptability, and an ability to find creative solutions to new challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and direct a training administrative team in all matters pertaining to cost, schedule, and performance
• Responsible for ensuring all events are delivered on time and on budget
• Responsible for overall management, performance of the learning center and audit compliance
• Responsible for ensuring employees are performing effectively, efficiently and are fully utilized
• Manage technology systems related to the learning center and course delivery including system upgrades and maintenance to ensure integrity of data
• Manage and report on financial performance of the learning center and related projects
• Ensure customer reports are accurate and provided in a timely manner
• Build strong client relationships, including coordinating with the learning council, various learning functions, and cross business functions to ensure that the needs of the customer are satisfied
• Participate in annual planning with customer to set strategic objectives, improvement plans, faculty planning, and scheduling
• Interface with other Raytheon Professional Services training managers and administrative leads to ensure adherence to common processes and metric generation.

Required Skills

• Proven ability to identify, evaluate and resolve problems and implement plans for areas of continuous improvement
• Proven ability to work with minimal management direction and can perform work responsibilities with remote manager

(VTCI) est à la recherche d’un chef d’équipe en activités de formation et de perfectionnement du personnel afin de superviser un centre de formation et les programmes qui y sont associés, et de diriger une équipe formée de spécialistes en formation et d’administrateurs de programmes. Le chef d’équipe sera responsable d’une équipe de professionnels de la formation qui fournissent un soutien administratif et logistique aux activités de formation de Pratt & Whitney Canada. À ce poste, vous serez responsable de la gestion efficace de l’infrastructure ainsi que des activités de formation assurées par l’équipe. De plus, le responsable fera office d’interface principale pour le client et devra établir une relation entre VTCI et PWC. Il occupera les mêmes locaux que le client et sera tenu de travailler avec celui-ci afin d’assurer une prestation de services irréprochable, en respectant les délais et les budgets prévus.
Le candidat idéal pour ce poste sera un responsable de projet (RP) qualifié, axé sur les opérations et comptant de nombreuses réalisations à son actif. Il devra également posséder une solide expérience du service à la clientèle et de la finance. Il devra être à même de diriger des équipes, d’établir de solides relations avec les clients et d’atteindre les objectifs de formation et de perfectionnement liés aux opérations commerciales. Ce travail nécessite de la flexibilité et de l’adaptabilité, ainsi qu’une capacité à trouver des solutions novatrices pour répondre à de nouveaux défis.
