University of Manitoba is seeking a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Seminar Leader for IDM 7000 A01 & G01 in the Interdisciplinary Management area. The appointment runs from Oct 19, 2026 to Jan 8, 2027, with a 0–20 hour weekly schedule and a total of 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Completion of academic studies and experience which have resulted in expertise in course instruction.
• Empathetic approach to students' instructional needs and concerns.
• Effective skills in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation, plan and coordinate meetings for the course staff.
• May attend lectures and other instructional sessions.
• Consult with supervisor for direction on assigned duties.
• Prepare instructional materials and present to students in tutorials, labs, or seminars.
• Mark student work including exams and assignments.
• Provide regular consultation times and informal student support.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Occasionally substitute for other teaching staff as needed.
