TG Minto Corporation, a division of Toyoda Gosei, seeks a Leader Technician to support injection molding production at our Palmerston plant. The role covers operating machines, meeting quotas, documenting production and training frontline technicians in a Just-in-time environment.

The ideal candidate will follow instructions, maintain 5S, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and be capable of cross-training across areas to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or aptitude test
• Must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform physical requirements

Responsabilités

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate injection machines and assembly stations.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and machinery.
• Train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand Kanban system.
• Work safely following Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Compensation And Benefits

• Starting wages of $20.55/hr with $2 premium
• Paid overtime after 40/hours per week
• Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift)
• Paint Booth Premiums +$0.50 (in addition to Shift Premiums)

General Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
• Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or— successful completion of an aptitude test
• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing on Night Shift (10:00PM-06:30 AM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
