Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead the development and execution of project quality management plans on-site in Bagotville, focusing on inspections, audits, and corrective actions. The role requires coordinating ITPs and engaging with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure top-tier quality performance.

You will mentor quality coordinators, drive continuous improvement, and promote best practices across diverse construction projects, with a strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• Construction-related education or equivalent industry experience.
• Several years of construction experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods across multiple project types.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical requirements.
• Experience planning and executing inspections, testing, and quality verification activities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead meetings and influence project stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Project Quality Management Plans (PQMPs).
• Develop and coordinate Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Plan and oversee project quality activities, inspections, and testing programs.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements to identify quality requirements and risks.
• Conduct audits and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Support project teams in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating quality-related risks.
• Act as the primary quality contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Facilitate quality meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Mentor and support Quality Coordinators and project team members.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation within project quality programs.
• Escalate quality-related issues and work collaboratively with operations to develop solutions.
