Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Alberta's Red Deer region seeks a Construction Manager/Inspector to lead field supervision on large water and wastewater projects. You will work with project teams to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of related construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years managing major projects as a Construction Manager.
• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent.
• On-the-job experience as an inspector on diverse construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections and reviews of projects during construction, monitoring conformance with plans, specifications, and codes.
• Monitor progress of construction activities, ensuring cost, schedule and quality standards are met.
• Communicate with Project Manager, design professionals, client, owner, or contractor on progress and delays.
• Provide timely project documentation and reporting.
• Attend meetings with clients and officials to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
