Stantec in Calgary is seeking an intermediate-level Construction Manager to support municipal water and wastewater projects. This hands-on role involves coordinating contractors and overseeing construction while providing mentorship from experienced leaders.

We are seeking an intermediate-level Construction Manager to support delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects. This position is intentionally targeted to experienced contractor-side professionals—such as Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, or early-career Superintendents—who are ready to broaden their responsibility and gain owner-side delivery experience.
This is a hands‑on, field‑engaged role with regular site presence. You will receive mentorship and technical support from senior construction managers and engineers.
Experience & Qualifications
Required:
A university degree is not required. A diploma, trade background, or equivalent practical experience is fully acceptable.
The position will work in both a field and office setting. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Must be available to travel for out‑of‑town projects when needed.
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
