Job summary

Tundra Process Solutions is seeking a Lead Valve Technician for our Fort St John branch. You will field service valves, perform repairs, and troubleshoot for clients both on-site and remotely.

The role requires hands-on expertise with ball, gate, choke, and control valves, plus experience with ESD components. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Oil & Gas, can work independently or in a team, and hold a forklift ticket with hoisting and rigging training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Lives Tundra Core Values.
• Experience in pressure testing is preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operations Ticket.
• Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging.
• Small Crane Certificate is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver Abstract.
• Must be local to the Fort St John area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves.
• Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves.
• On-site and over the phone/email troubleshooting for clients.
• Repair of ESD Valves and Components.
• In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves.
• Pressure Testing.
• Forklift Operations.
