Master Flo Valve Inc. is seeking a full-time permanent Valve Technician to join our team in Edmonton, AB. The role involves assembling and testing choke and control valves, reading drawings, and adhering to quality standards.

The candidate should have mechanical aptitude, English communication skills, and a commitment to health and safety. Overtime may be available, and the company offers a stable, longstanding operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mechanically inclined job.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills on Master Flo products.
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and with minimal supervision.
• A commitment to workplace health and safety, environmental, and quality objectives.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Actively support and comply with corporate programs, standards, and policies, including health and safety, quality, and environmental programs
• Other duties as required.

Work Conditions:

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Option for overtime.
• Permanent, full-time
• Work comfortably indoors.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test choke and control valves in accordance with our company quality standards (Internal training provided for all job functions)
• Read and follow drawings, procedures, and work instructions (training provided).
• Work with common tools in assembly and testing of Master Flo products.
• Assembly and/or hydro testing of Master Flo products.
