Job summary

Onni seeks a Civil Foreperson for Underground Utilities in Vancouver to lead crews delivering essential water, sewer, and storm infrastructure. You will supervise daily field activities, ensure safety, and coordinate with project teams to meet municipal and project standards.

Required are 5+ years in civil underground utility construction and foreman experience, plus ability to read construction drawings and manage safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil underground utility construction.
• Proven foreman or lead hand experience.
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings.
• Knowledge of trench safety and excavation regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of underground utility crews.
• Plan, organize, and execute work related to watermain, sanitary, storm, and service installations.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and utility locates.
• Ensure safety compliance and site safety plans.
• Coordinate with project management, inspectors, engineers, and authorities.
• Complete daily reports and as-built documentation.
• Train and mentor crew members.
