Job summary

Voyago Transdev Ontario in Kingston is hiring a Full-Time Driver Trainer to support Kingston Schools Operations. In this role, you'll train employees to drive all company-owned vehicles safely and professionally while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers an hourly rate of $25.00 with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:30pm, reflecting our safety-first culture and commitment to growth within a Great Place to Work-certified organization.

Qualifications

• Valid B or E Class License held for a minimum of 3 years.
• Clean Driver Abstract with no demerit points.
• Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Kingston Region and surrounding areas.
• Organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Understanding of the vehicle-for-hire industry and regulations.
• Familiarity with wheelchair tie-down systems (Q'Straint and similar).
• Signing authority.
• Candidates applying with a current valid work permit and requiring a licence upgrade, must have at least twelve months of remaining validity on the work permit at the time of application.

Primary Responsibilities

The Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment.
