Job summary

Olsson seeks an experienced traffic engineer to lead transportation analyses for mission-critical data center projects across the United States.

As a Licensed Professional Engineer on Olsson's Traffic & Technology team, you will guide studies, develop technical recommendations, and collaborate with clients, project teams, and public agencies to deliver innovative transportation solutions for high-profile developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• PTOE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 4 years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
• Experience preparing traffic impact studies, transportation analyses, or traffic operations evaluations.
• Experience coordinating with public agencies.
• Self-motivation in project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic studies and transportation analyses for data center projects.
• Evaluate data and roadway operations to assess site access and impacts.
• Prepare and review reports, exhibits, and design recommendations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and agencies.
• Apply engineering judgment and standards while managing multiple projects.
• Train and mentor EIT staff in traffic engineering and project management.
