Genesis Land Surveying Inc. seeks a Survey Crew Chief to lead field operations, perform high-precision surveys, manage data, and ensure safe, efficient site work. You will represent the firm onsite, guiding the crew and delivering reliable data for engineering and boundary teams.

The role requires licensure, a diploma in a related field, and 3–5 years of cadastral/topographic experience. Proficiency in FieldGenius, Carlson, and AutoCAD is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related survey field or civil construction technology.
• 3-5 years of cadastral, topographic, and construction surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of surveying software: FieldGenius, Carlson, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Survey execution: pre-engineering, topographic and boundary surveys.
• Construction & industrial layout: anchor bolts, grids, formwork, footings.
• Equipment operation: total stations, GPS, terrestrial scanners; calibration as needed.
• Quality control: verify field notes and data are complete and accurate.
• Team leadership: mentor/train field staff; foster a collaborative team.
• Safety compliance: uphold health and safety policies on site.
