Job summary

BPA is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, integrated at one of our major clients in Canada. The role is on-site within an industrial environment, with a hybrid policy to balance office and field work.

You will lead structural projects, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure compliance with codes and safety requirements. We value strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant structural experience.
• OIQ member required.
• Industrial environment experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the structural project lead on site.
• Design and validate structural solutions adapted to an existing industrial environment.
• Coordinate work with internal teams (mechanical, electrical, process, etc.).
• Work closely with the client and the general contractor.
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and safety requirements.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Provide technical support during construction.
