Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Canada is seeking a Technical Expert, Stress Engineering with extensive aerospace experience to lead structural sizing, substantiation and certification across major programs. You will collaborate with OEMs and suppliers, review analyses, validate documentation and drive harmonized sizing methodologies to meet aircraft level requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum twelve years of aerospace experience.
Experience in OEM stress integration or aerostructure design.
Active contribution to at least two aircraft development programs.
Strong knowledge of structural substantiation analysis and damage tolerance.

Responsibilities

Lead conceptual sizing on structural work packages and interfaces with Structural Suppliers.
Monitor and guide work packages to ensure quality product and documentation.
Harmonize sizing methodologies across Structures packages.
Prepare and review engineering docs: manuals, requirements, reports, memos, analyses.
Review and approve structural substantiation reports from suppliers.
Coordinate Certification activities related to the work package.
Provide management with status and risk visibility.
