Zafin, a Toronto‑based AI platform company, seeks a Lead Technical Consultant to design and deliver enterprise software. You’ll blend software engineering, delivery, and customer advocacy across core banking integrations and modern SaaS architectures.

Bring hands-on engineering experience, deep Java ecosystem knowledge, and strong client engagement skills to drive successful implementations and ongoing platform evolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Customer Engineer.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end software or integration solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in SaaS or banking technology implementations.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments (Scrum, TDD/BDD).
• Client-facing experience managing technical discussions and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement enterprise-grade software solutions aligned with customer and platform requirements.
• Develop structured, testable code across application and integration layers.
• Lead technical tasks from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with teams to resolve them efficiently.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to clients throughout implementation.
