Job summary

Astucemedia, a global leader in real-time data visualization, seeks a Lead Software Engineer – AI, Data Visualization & Platform in Montreal. You will bridge architectural vision with product innovation, delivering scalable AI-enabled graphics platforms for live TV, studios, and immersive experiences.

You will lead hands-on development across front-end and back-end teams, evolve our Angular and C#/.NET Core platform, and mentor engineers while collaborating with senior staff.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and Angular/TypeScript.
• Proven track record in AI-powered software and data visualization.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and distributed systems.
• Ability to mentor and lead engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiar with cloud-native architectures and modern deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to multiple teams.
• Develop and maintain production-quality code across the stack.
• Evolve the Angular/.NET Core platform and APIs.
• Prototype AI features and integrate them into production.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and secure deployment practices.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to translate ideas into solutions.
