Job summary

SarniaCareers is seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse to lead our Long Term Care team. As a supervisor, you will coordinate shifts, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality resident care with dignity and safety.

You will collaborate with physicians and therapists, maintain accurate documentation, and support families to foster trust and continuity of care. This is a leadership role in a resident-centered home.

Qualifications

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing is required.
• Medication administration education/competency is required.
• VSS check completed within the past 6 months is required.
• TB 2 Step updated within the last year is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing team and facility in absence of management, delivering shift reports and guiding daily priorities.
• Assess, plan, and deliver care for residents with complex needs to ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Administer medications safely and accurately, including advanced therapies as required.
• Document to CNO standards and maintain accountability and high-quality outcomes.

Education

Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing

Medication administration education/competency

Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check within the past 6 months

TB 2 Step updated within the last year
