Lindt Canada is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Sherway Gardens location in Toronto. You will help manage daily shop operations, drive sales, and uphold exceptional customer service.

The role requires 5+ years in retail with supervisory experience, expertise in inventory control, and strong leadership. A hospitality background is a plus; hybrid or flexible merchandising may apply in coordination with store standards.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education required.
• Minimum five years of retail sales experience including supervisory roles.
• Experience in inventory control and order management.
• 1–2 years in retail management with 2–5 years total retail experience.
• Hospitality or restaurant industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of barista work and gelato/ice cream is an asset.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of the Lindt Shop.
• Support generation and growth of corporate sales.
• Uphold exemplary customer service standards by modeling behaviours and establishing service standards.
• Monitor sales and labour to maximize store profitability without compromising service.
• Assist with recruitment activities including interviewing and hiring Retail Sales Associates.
• Supervise store staff to maximize service, sales, and profitability.
• Support training on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Order merchandise and supplies with focus on inventory management and loss prevention.
• Reconcile daily cash, complete daily paperwork and related store administration tasks.
• Develop knowledge of products and sales data to achieve targets while controlling expenses.
