Job summary

First Onsite Restoration in Ontario seeks a Project Manager II to lead restoration projects from estimation to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability while mentoring others. You will coordinate teams, subcontractors, and resources, communicate with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers, and drive projects to timely, cost-effective outcomes with a strong client focus.

This role demands hands-on leadership, problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager I or equivalent in restoration or construction.
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects independently from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of restoration practices, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Experience reading plans, developing scopes, and negotiating with clients and adjusters.
• Skilled communicator with strong organization and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Xactimate (Level 2) a plus.
• IICRC certifications WRT and FSRT are preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedules.
• Comfort with physical work and site-based activities (ladders, lifting, confined spaces).

Responsibilities

• Oversee restoration projects from estimation to completion with safety and profitability in mind.
• Lead teams, subcontractors and resources to keep work on schedule.
• Engage homeowners, adjusters and insurers to align expectations and build trust.
• Mentor junior project managers and supervisors for consistency across jobs.
• Identify and solve issues quickly to keep projects advancing.
