First Onsite Restoration is seeking a Project Manager II to lead restoration projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while building client trust throughout the process.

You will scope losses, prepare estimates, and manage budgets, coordinating crews and subcontractors to maintain safety, quality, and profitability across Canada. The role includes mentoring junior staff and collaborating with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in restoration/insurance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish.
• Proficiency in Xactimate, MS Office, and mobile apps.
• IICRC WRT and FSRT certifications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to participate in on-call rotations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in tight spaces.

We're looking for a client driven, hands-on Project Manager who can bring people together, solve problems on the fly, and keep restoration and reconstruction projects moving from the first estimate to the final walkthrough. As our Project Manager (internally known as Project Manager II), you'll lead with confidence, and deliver results that matter - keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and profitable while building client trust every step of the way.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER

As a Project Manager, you take full ownership of every restoration project, leading from kickoff to completion with precision and purpose. You'll scope losses, prepare detailed estimates, and manage budgets to ensure every project stays profitable and on schedule. You'll keep teams, subcontractors, and resources working in sync, driving progress while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. You'll engage directly with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers to build trust, communicate clearly, and keep expectations aligned. You'll stay ahead of potential issues, solving challenges quickly and keeping work moving without delay. You'll also mentor junior project managers and supervisors, building their skills and ensuring consistency across every job you touch. Each day, your leadership, problem-solving, and commitment to excellence will deliver outstanding results for clients and your team alike.

Q u a l i f i c a t i o n s

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in restoration/insurance
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of restoration and construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes
• Experience reading plans, developing scopes, and negotiating with clients and adjusters
• Skilled communicator with strong organization and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mobile applications, and Xactimate (Level 2 certification)
• IICRC certifications: WRT and FSRT
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
• Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
