Qualifications

• Eligible for and maintains licensure to practice as a respiratory therapist in Manitoba.
• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
• Demonstrates leadership, teaching and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services and patient care within the department and hospital.
• Lead and advise clinical staff; participate in ICU rounds and ventilator management.
• Perform equipment checks, maintenance and emergency repairs as required.
• Respond to Code Blue and provide 24/7 coverage for respiratory services.
