Job summary

GE Vernova in Canada is seeking a Project Manager Construction and Commissioning (PMCC) to oversee field operations, manage scope, schedule and budget with project stakeholders. The role emphasizes safe site work, quality, on-time delivery and effective leadership.

Key duties include mobilization planning, cost tracking, risk management, weekly schedule updates and coordination across teams. Travel up to 25% in Canada and fluent English/French are essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in site strategy with Project Director and Site Manager.
• Define mobilization activities and required site trainings.
• Prepare mobilization planning and resource loading.
• Lead site tollgate reviews for C&C aspects.
• Track site documentation and issue to customer.
• Build and update project financial/physical progress tracking.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and forecasting.
• Engage in risk mitigation and opportunity assessment.
• Travel to sites 25% to review operations.
• Update site schedule weekly with planner.
• Coordinate communications across project teams.
• Participate in customer and internal meetings.
• Manage scope changes and impacts for site works.
• Prepare RFQs and Purchase Requests for site works.
• Manage vendor packages at site (piping, painting, electrical, etc).
• Lead site demobilization at project end.
