Job summary

The Mosaic Company in Colonsay, Saskatchewan seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure safety, and drive continuous production. You will manage hourly staff, quality, environmental adherence, and coordinate with maintenance and rail operations.

We value leadership, union experience, and hands-on technical skills with MS Office and plant systems like Maximo and Kronos. You’ll participate in audits, permits, and process improvements while fostering a safe, efficient work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant experience or a 2-year technical program with 2+ years.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.
• Previous step-up, leadership, or supervisory experience in a union environment.
• Industrial experience, chemical experience, and potash mill experience is a plus.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office; Maximo, Pi, OIS, Kronos are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and environmentally sound operating conditions within equipment design parameters.
• Lead, schedule, coach, train, and develop hourly employees (incl. safety and environmental).
• Facilitate ongoing communication between hourly employees and management for rail, quality, and safety.
• Work with operations and maintenance to troubleshoot and address problems to maximize flow and safety.
• Assist in implementing process improvements or capital projects.
• Conduct audits and inspections and review/authorize work permits.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
