Job summary

Greenfield Global Inc. seeks a Process Technician for our Varennes site in the Renewable Energy - Production department. The role supports continuous production in a distillery environment, supervising operations and maintaining product quality.

You will work with computer-based control systems, monitor process parameters, and ensure safe, compliant startup and shutdown activities. A chemistry-focused education and hands-on safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Ability to read and interpret operation guides, logs and manuals.
• Experience with computer-based process control systems.
• Demonstrated safety mindset and high awareness of health, safety and environmental rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment safely and efficiently.
• Supervise production using computer screens, meters and alarms.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring and adjusting processes.
• Start up and shut down equipment; ensure procedures run smoothly.
• Record process data and report deviations for improvements.
• Keep records of temperatures, pressures and key parameters.
• Clean and disinfect process equipment and work areas.
• Support maintenance and minor repairs where needed.
