Qualifications

Lead Platform Analyst, Network, Brampton, ON

What You'll Do:

  • You will be the lead for Network and responsible for the WAN/LAN connectivity in stores.
  • Lead the rollout of Enhancements to SD-WAN devices, controllers, and edge appliances across multiple locations.
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot SD-WAN deployments to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Focus on Network operations for Stores (Loblaw and Shoppers) and manage the incidents and communications with Stakeholders and business.
  • Prepare regular reports on network performance, incident resolutions, and project updates.
  • Participate in strategic discussions around network expansion, scalability, and optimization.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Network operations, offering technical leadership during major network transformations/Major incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to align network goals with organizational objectives.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP (Enterprise), CCIE, SD-WAN Specialist, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in enterprise network architecture, implementation, and operations. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies.
  • Deep understanding of SD-WAN architecture, protocols, and technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IPsec, QoS).
  • Good to have knowledge on network security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, and secure edge solutions, and experience in Cloud.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., MIST, ThousandEyes, Splunk) and performance optimization.
  • An open mindset to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with Operational issues with a "Go get" Attitude.
