Placements24 invites a Lead Petroleum Geologist to oversee geological exploration and development activities from the Kimberley office. You will lead geological teams, interpret subsurface data, and identify new resource opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.

You will develop and refine geological models from seismic, well log, and core data; manage geological risks; mentor junior geologists; and present interpretations and recommendations to management and partners.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Geology or Petroleum Geology.
• 10+ years in petroleum exploration geology, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Expertise in seismic interpretation, well correlation, and sequence stratigraphy.
• Proficiency with geological software suites (Petrel, GeoGraphix).
