Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks a Psychologist II to lead comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments in the Pediatric Rehabilitation Division, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families to ensure family-centered care.

You will conduct assessments, synthesize findings, provide differential diagnoses and communicate results. Experience with WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, WIAT-III and related tools is required, with opportunities for mentorship and research involvement.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology; CPA/APA eligible or equivalent.
  • Active registration with CAP or eligible; Provisional Psychologists considered.
  • Experience diagnosing neurodevelopmental conditions including IDD, ASD, ADHD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced clinical services including psychological assessment, diagnosis and intervention.
  • Lead, collaborate and educate interprofessional teams and families.
  • Engage in program development, quality improvement and research activities as needed.
  • Supervise doctoral residents, interns and other staff where appropriate.
