Job summary

North York General Hospital invites applications for a Psychologist - CMH-Eating Disorder in the Child Mental Health department. The role requires leadership in implementing evidence-based practices and delivering family-centered care to children, youth and families with eating disorders.

Responsibilities include outpatient therapy, collaboration with physicians and therapists, and development of program policies. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Psychology required.
• Registered member in good standing or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
• Experience with eating disorder treatment modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient therapy in individual and group settings using a multi-modal approach (FBT, DBT, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID).
• Offer consultations to medical and mental health staff.
• Lead development of policies and programs for the Eating Disorders Program.
• Participate in research, program evaluation and quality assurance activities.
• Provide education and supervision to staff and students.
