PwC Canada’s Risk Modelling Services invites you to join as a Risk Modelling Services, Actuarial P&C Director. You will lead the Quebec P&C Actuarial Services team and provide Appointed Actuary and audit services, IFRS 17 valuation, and risk insights across client engagements.

You’ll collaborate with Canadian P&C leadership, develop new services, build client relationships, and drive engagement delivery and financial management while leveraging analytics and AI to deliver forward-looking

Qualifications

Extensive experience in corporate actuarial valuation services (Valuation/Reserving, Financial Reporting, Capital Analysis, Financial Condition Testing).
Experience leading an actuarial function with staff and financial metrics.
Qualified Actuary (Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries).
Experience with product development and pricing, including new modelling techniques.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and grow the Quebec P&C Actuarial Services team, including development and client delivery.
Provide Appointed Actuary and audit services including IFRS 17 valuation and Financial Condition Testing.
Advise on product development, pricing, M&A and other advisory services.
Collaborate with Canadian P&C Actuarial leadership to set strategy and develop new services.
Build networks to participate in cross-unit projects across PwC.
Identify client issues and translate into opportunities; manage engagement risks.
