Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking a Risk Modelling Services Director in P&C Actuarial to lead the Quebec team, deliver Actuary services and advise on strategic matters for clients across sectors. You will oversee valuation, pricing, M&A and advisory projects while driving growth with cross‑functional leadership.

You will collaborate with Canadian leadership, recruit and coach staff, and apply analytics and AI to deliver innovative client solutions. Fluency in English and French is valued.

Qualifications

Experience leading corporate actuarial valuation services including reserving and financial reporting.
Strong track record in staff management, budgeting and client delivery.
Proactive, autonomous working style with ownership and execution.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and grow the Quebec P&C Actuarial Services team and drive business growth.
Provide Appointed Actuary and IFRS 17 actuarial liability valuation services.
Advise on product development, pricing, M&A and other advisory services.
Collaborate with Canadian P&C leadership to set strategy and develop new services.
Build client relationships and oversee large project delivery and financials.
Leverage analytics and AI for forward-looking client solutions.
Recruit and manage P&C actuarial staff.
