Job summary

Framatome Canada is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to develop and maintain project schedules, perform critical path analyses, and lead scheduling activities for large nuclear projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate resources, and drive schedule improvements across complex programs.

The role requires deep expertise in scheduling concepts, strong communication, and the ability to guide junior staff while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Expert understanding of planning and scheduling concepts.
• Knowledge of nuclear power plant systems and interrelated activities.
• Excellent communication skills to convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Awareness of stakeholders to ensure inputs and definition.
• Experience supporting large and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current project schedules, schedule status and schedule analysis with appropriate software.
• Develop or assist in developing project work breakdown structure for projects to meet scheduling and cost tracking requirements.
• Provide critical path analysis and creates 'what if' scenarios; evaluate impact of changes to critical path.
• Assist in identifying and ensuring adherence to required project resources (staff, materials, equipment, etc.).
• Coordinate with IS on implementation, updating and enhancement to scheduling software tools.
• Participate on project teams providing valued project data and analysis; lead project schedule status meetings.
• Provide scheduling training, coaching and leadership to project staff, as needed.
• Develop and analyze project metrics; generate accurate, timely reports and schedules for management.
• Recommend and develop scheduling process improvements.
• Typically directs the activities of less experienced staff in a related capacity.
