EQ Bank, a Canadian challenger bank, is hiring a Manager, Model Validation to join the Model Risk Management team. The role executes validation procedures across credit, treasury, IFRS 9 ECL, and related risk models and prepares validation reports under the MRMF.

Based in Toronto with hybrid work, you will review methodologies, document issues, and support governance activities including regulatory attestations and self-assessments.

• Execute model validation procedures and contribute to validation strategies.
• Review methodologies, assumptions, inputs, and performance; document issues and recommendations.
• Prepare model validation reports under the MRMF framework.
• Support governance activities such as regulatory self-assessments and attestations.
