Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority invites applications for a Chief Medical Dosimetrist in Saskatoon. This leadership role focuses on daily dosimetry planning, supervision and interdepartmental coordination within Medical Physics.

You will work to standardize provincial practices, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality, safe radiation therapy planning for cancer patients at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Radiation Therapy.
• Certification requirements with CDC or CMD within timelines.
• Leadership certificate completion within 2 years.
• 3+ years experience as a Medical Dosimetrist.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the dosimetry team for daily planning and operations.
• Ensure compliance with radiation therapy practice standards to deliver safe treatment plans.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologist and medical physicist for provincial standardization.
