Job summary

Artemis Gold Inc. is seeking a Supervisor - Fixed Plant Maintenance at the Blackwater Mine site.

You will lead mechanical trades, apprentices, and contractors to execute planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and safe work practices. This role requires five years of maintenance experience in gold mining or heavy industry, a Millwright or mechanical engineering credential, and strong knowledge of crushers, conveyors, pumps, and CMMS platforms such as SAP,

Qualifications

• Mechanical trades background or engineering credentials with maintenance leadership experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in mining or heavy industry settings.
• Strong knowledge of crushers, conveyors, pumps, screens, gearboxes and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance for fixed plant equipment.
• Coordinate emergency repairs, shutdown planning, and work order quality.
• Develop tradespeople and apprentices; monitor performance and competencies.
• Investigate incidents and root causes; support continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Planning, Reliability, Operations and Warehouse on priorities and parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE requirements.
