Job summary

S.I. Systems Ltd. in Toronto seeks an Int. Technical Project Manager for Mainframe Infrastructure to own delivery of in-flight mainframe initiatives within a Tier1 bank. The contract is 6 months, hybrid in Toronto (2x/week).

The role focuses on governance, cross-functional leadership, and delivery of upgrades, migrations, cyber resiliency and modernization efforts with strong stakeholder communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing enterprise technology infrastructure projects.
• Direct project delivery experience within a mainframe environment.
• Strong governance, scheduling and execution capabilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams and vendors.
• Ability to communicate complex issues to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of in-flight mainframe infrastructure initiatives.
• Maintain integrated project plans covering scope, schedule and resources.
• Drive execution across infrastructure, applications, security and operations.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
• Prepare status reports and executive updates.
• Coordinate technical reviews and implementation approvals.
• External vendor management and delivery oversight.
• Ensure audit, compliance and project documentation.
