Job summary

Gtrworldwide in Canada seeks an experienced production supervisor to lead machining, metal forming and erection teams, ensuring quality and on-time delivery across multiple workgroups in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise daily activities, interpret blueprints and specifications, plan workflows, set up CNC and conventional machines, monitor performance, enforce safety rules, arrange preventive maintenance with technicians, train and evaluate tradespersons, and drive improvements to

Qualifications

Trade certificate or diploma in machining or related trade.
Several years of hands-on experience in machining and metal forming operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience with CNC and conventional machine tools, press brakes, welding and fabrication processes.
Familiarity with calipers, micrometers and gauges for quality control.

Responsibilities

Lead machining, metal forming and erection crews to meet production schedules.
Interpret drawings, plan workflows, and set up machines for production runs.
Monitor CNC and manual equipment to ensure accuracy and productivity.
Coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and enforce safety procedures.
Train, mentor and evaluate tradespersons and operators, and manage workload distribution.
