Job summary

SegulaTechnologies seeks a Lead Logistics Engineer for Internal Logistics Engineering to support new product introductions at a major OEM facility in Canada.

The role focuses on optimizing material delivery, coordinating with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure production lines meet performance targets, minimize downtime due to material shortages, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing internal logistics networks for new product introductions.
• Knowledge of Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimal Internal Logistics network for new Product Introduction and continuous improvement projects.
• Lead simulations and bottleneck analysis to identify improvement opportunities and eliminate constraints.
• Present the station readiness plan to steering committee and to the customer.
• Provide direction to Station Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to implement design and process improvements.
• Lead or participate in Kaizen workshops and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Track and report launch metrics including cycle time adherence and throughput performance.

SegulaTechnologies is seeking an Lead Logistics Engineer for Internal LogisticsEngineering to support new product introductions at a major OEM facility.

This role focuses on optimal material delivery methodology of both automaticand manual delivery—ensuring production lines meet performance, no downtimedue to material shortage and ramp-up in collaboration with Manufacturing andEngineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop optimal Internal Logisticsnetwork for new Product Introduction and continuous improvement projects forfollowing material delivery strategies which will include but not limited to:

1. Tier 1 Module delivery
2. Sequence commodities
3. Kitting Strategy
4. BulkDelivery and Small Lot Perform long lead or front end engineering for logisticsprocesses which includes estimating automation, surface area, docks andequipment requirements.

• Support program team with special studies for costjustification.
• Present the station readiness plan to steering committee andto the customer.
• Present the logistics and station design to the core launchteam which will include product, engineering, industrial engineering andoperational team members Lead simulation and bottleneck analysis to identifyimprovement opportunities and eliminate constraints.
• Provide direction toStation Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to implementdesign and process improvements.
• Lead or participate in continuousimprovement (Kaizen) workshops and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Track andreport launch metrics including cycle time adherence, first-time quality,downtime, and throughput performance.
• Support pilot builds, tool tryouts, andprocess validation during pre-production phases.
