Base pay range

CA$100,000.00/yr - CA$120,000.00/yr

• Hands-on development, coding, and debugging are essential;

• Develop high-quality deliverables across all Camunda projects and provide consultative guidance on project assignments;

• Integrate and maintain moderately to highly complex applications throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);

• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications using Camunda.

Requirements:

• Experience with jBPM (Process Automation Manager/Decision Manager) or Camunda;

• Experience working in SOA/Microservice Architecture using Camunda BPM;

• Financial services industry experience is a plus;

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology;

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Process Management;

• Proficiency in Java, J2EE Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Design, Hibernate, Spring Framework;

• Experience with platforms such as Windows, UNIX, Mainframe, or multiple technologies and applications for at least 4 years;

• Knowledge of migrating legacy jBPM processes and rules to the latest version;

• Experience with BPM tools such as Pega, Bizagi, Appian, Active Matrix, or related tools is strongly preferred;

• Hands-on experience in design and development using Camunda;

• Extensive BPM knowledge and experience in conceptualizing workflow solutions using Camunda;

• Experience with Agile software development lifecycle.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Camunda Developer with hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, and SQL, along with exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical requirements;
• Work independently on requirements end-to-end, understanding stakeholder needs, and designing solutions;
• Create Camunda workflows;
• Draft and deliver Java coding and development;
• Develop end-to-end in Java, React, Angular.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with Camunda;
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE;
• At least 5 years of experience with Spring, Spring Boot, etc.;
• At least 3 years of Angular experience;
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB;
• At least 3 years in a customer-facing role;
• Experience with test automation tools for backend and UI;
• Good communication skills;
• Strong problem-solving and design capabilities;
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
