Job summary

Capital One Canada is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager for International Card Tech - Full stack. You will motivate, manage, and inspire a team of software engineers to deliver innovative products while participating in hands-on development.

You will lead 2+ teams to reduce fraud and improve customer experience, guide talent development, and champion modern technologies within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience leading a team within an agile environment.
• At least 3 years of experience providing direct people leadership including talent development and succession planning.
• At least 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Directly and indirectly lead 2+ teams of engineers to build solutions.
• Participate in talent and succession planning, encourage innovation and diversity.
• Lead craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of applications.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community and stay current with tech trends.
