Job summary

A childcare learning center in Chilliwack, British Columbia is seeking full-time Infants’ Daycare Workers. The ideal candidates will lead activities for infants and toddlers, develop child care programs, and provide essential care in a nurturing environment. Required qualifications include a College Certificate in early childhood education and First Aid/CPR certifications. Competitive wages range from $27.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience, with 10 days paid vacation offered.

Qualifications

• Experience is an asset.
• Must hold a College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education.
• First Aid, CPR, E.C.E., and IT Certificates required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities for infants and toddlers.
• Develop and implement supportive child care programs.
• Provide essential care including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist in developing self-care skills in children.
• Supervise early childhood educators and assistants.
• Build collaborative relationships with other employees.
• Monitor children’s behavior and development.
• Communicate with parents about child progress.
