Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Toronto is seeking a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to design and rehabilitate hydraulic structures and hydroelectric facilities. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design calculations, reports, and technical specifications for tendering and construction.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree with a structural focus, 5–10 years of relevant experience, and membership in OIQ or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with structural focus required.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in design of structural projects.
• Membership in OIQ or in progress is required.
• Proficiency in ADA, SAP2000, MathCAD and CADAM 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design of hydraulic structures and generators.
• Rehabilitate hydraulic structures and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design meetings and deliverables.
• Prepare calculations, notes, and design reports.
• Develop technical specs and drawings for tender/construction.
