Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a civil/structural engineer to join our hydroelectric team focused on dam projects, hydraulic works and power plants. You will design, analyze and rehabilitate hydraulic structures in concrete and steel.

You will lead design meetings, produce calculations and drawings, and supervise key technical deliverables for bids and construction. 5–10 years of relevant experience and a civil engineering degree are required; P.Eng eligibility is a plus; French fluency is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; Master's degree is an asset.
OIQ membership or eligibility for registration in Canada.
Experience designing building, bridge and hydraulic structures.
Knowledge of SAP2000, MathCAD and CADam 3D.

Responsibilities

Structural design of hydraulic structures, hydroelectric facilities and related structures (concrete and steel).
Rehabilitation of hydraulic works and power plants.
Multidisciplinary coordination; lead design meetings.
Produce preliminary and detailed engineering, calculations, reports and specifications.
