Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a full-time janitorial associate in Owen Sound, Ontario, to support facility cleanliness across washrooms, cafeterias and office spaces. You will clean, disinfect, vacuum and report maintenance needs to the supervisor.

The role requires ability to work independently, stand long periods, and endure varying weather outdoors. A criminal background check is required, and accommodation is available during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

• Clean and disinfect washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in cafeteria areas, including wiping tables, chairs and counters.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins; replace liners.
• Clean office spaces: dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
